The cold heart

The middle shelves give the most stable cold of the shelf area: the home of dairy, which hates temperature swings. Milk, yogurt and cheese.

Eggs go here too. In the American fridge the door is huge and tempting, but it's still the warmest zone; eggs keep better on an inner shelf.

With all your width, dedicate a tray or a fixed spot to 'dairy' so you see it at a glance and keep an eye on dates.
